so I am planning to revel in the gloriousness of a happy sunny day just in case I blink and miss it – there have been a few sunny days already this year and I have , mistakenly as it turns out, thought they were the beginning of a run of sun so did not fully appreciate them – oops…

Here is a little gallery showing where I shall be for most of the day I think.. the swinging seat is a constant delight isn’t it? It came from Suffolk and I think probably dates from 1920s – it is seriously robust engineering and we love it with many happy memories of various kids using it over the years and dogs jumping on and off. I recall Teasle managing to do that even when she was really quite frail – a heart stopping moment when she launched at it and I thought….’surely not poss…’ but with only a minor scoop under her belly from me she triumphed and settled down for a lazy afternoon with me..

So, with only a short break to see Bru.. you will find me here, gently swinging, reading, relaxing today as if it were the only day of summer… just in case it is….
